About this product
The Vestax PDX-2000 is a direct-drive DJ turntable made in Japan, featuring an aluminum platter, straight tonearm, and pitch control with +/-50% range. It plays 33.3 and 45 RPM vinyl records and outputs via RCA. Includes a slipmat. Known for strong torque and reliability, it's a favorite among scratch DJs. This listing is for a single turntable unit only.
Our take
I've used PDX-2000s for years, and they never disappoint. The direct drive has great torque, and the pitch range is massive at +/-50%—perfect for scratching and beat juggling. The straight tonearm tracks well. Build is solid, made in Japan. However, it's a bare-bones turntable: no built-in preamp, so you'll need a mixer with phono inputs. Also, only 33/45 RPM, no 78. For the price, a reliable workhorse for vinyl DJs.
