About this product
The Vestax VCI-300 MKII is a 2-channel, double-deck DJ controller designed for Serato DJ Pro. It features a built-in sound card, 8 performance pads per deck, and an auto BPM function. Inputs include 1 mic, 2 phono, and 2 line inputs, with USB connectivity. This tabletop unit is manufactured in Japan and offers a comprehensive control surface for digital DJing.
Our take
The VCI-300 MKII is a classic controller that still holds up today. The integration with Serato DJ Pro is seamless, and the 8 pads per deck are great for triggering hot cues and loops. The auto BPM function works well for quick track analysis. The metal construction feels premium, but the unit is somewhat bulky for transport. The mic input is handy, but the phono/line inputs are limited to two each. At $129, it's a bargain for a once high-end controller.
