I picked up a used Vestax PDX-2000 and was impressed by the build quality. The direct-drive motor is strong, and the pitch slider with +/- 50% range is a DJ's dream for beatmatching. The aluminum platter feels solid, and the included dust cover is a nice bonus. However, it only plays analog records, so no digital files, and the 1-month warranty is minimal. For a classic turntable that's built to last, it's a solid choice if you can find one in good condition.
